Long-distance move from Estero, FL to Clifton Park, NY

Scammers

This company lies to customers. They tell clients over the phone that they have a carrier and meanwhile it just sits on some national load board not moving. Scammed Grandma and Grandpa telling them it will cost $2500 to ship their cars to NY and then posted the cars for $1750.00. The cars never moved because they were trying to get an $800.00 broker FEE. Ended up finding another company Enterprise Auto Transport to ship the cars for $2500 total. STAY AWAY.

Long-distance move from Santa Fe, NM to Los Angeles, CA

Phenomenal experience

I was in a pinch last month in order to get my car shipped from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Los Angeles by Thanksgiving. I called RoadRunner with only nine days notice and they made it happen. Very concise and helpful through the whole process. My Chevy was picked up and delivered on the exact days they said and i even got a call from the driver both times to give me an hour's heads up. I'm absolutely going to use them in the future if I need to ship my car again.

Long-distance move from Maryland to Florida

Scam!! Do not use.

I had a terrible experience. I spoke with Sean Brady to arrange the shipment of my elderly father's vehicle to me. Sean knew my father needed to have a time and date arranged and confirmed due to his poor health. Sean promised me 10am on June 9th. I repeatedly asked if this time and day would be for sure, he always replied yes. I booked the shipment. On June 8th I still hadn't recieved confirmation so I called. Sean would not answer my calls or emails. I called customer service and they said the date was not guaranteed. So I cancelled.

They charged me $135. I called to ask why since they had broken the verbal contract which I also had an email from Sean as proof. The girl became angry and told me they fight with their customers all the time and win because the written contract says you get charged if you cancel. She told me they welcomed the fight.

I have continued to call and email Sean to see if he would help, but he won't return my calls or emails. In fact, since I paid he hasn't. Im certain this is a tactic they train to. Lie to the customer until they pay then ignore them. Just look at Google reviews. Im hardly the first.

Ive opened a BBB case and they did in fact respond with the written contract and will not honor the verbal or email one I had with Sean.

I am an active duty military member with a family of 4, so $135 means alot to me. It means nothing to them unless this is a tactic they rely on for income because no carrier was ever assigned, no time was lost, so they had no expenses. They simply train and employ tactics to rob people of their hard earned money.

Because so many military use car transport companies I feel it is my duty to ensure this company stops. I will seek council from lawyers in the military system and explore government channels to have the blacklisted. I will devote both on duty and off duty time until I feel this company has changed their practices. I will post this story on every platform available.

Your representative wanted a fight, but my fight isn't against Roadrunner my fight is for those who can't fight for themselves. I will attempt to protect the vulnerable against this scam.

Long-distance move from Old Saybrook, CT to San Diego, CA

Scam. Terrible company

This company is a total joke. They don't answer the phone nor do they provide any customer service after they've booked you. You will really regret using them. I was forced to sell my car since they left me high and dry and did not complete their part of the agreement and pickup on or around my departure date. I really wish I would have done more research on this company instead of finding out the hard way. Just glad I was able to cancel before these scumbags charged my credit card. Which by the way I subsequently cancelled just in case they charged out of spite. Roadrunner is going to eventually run out of people to scam and hopefully go out of business for the betterment of society.

If you like bad service, use Road Runner

If you like deliveries that are days late, drivers that "ghost" you (despite a $50 advance tip) inability to speak with customer service at road runner, ("due to unusually high call volumes", no voice mail, and disconnection, unresponsive to text, unresponsive to Email).......use this firm. Once they have your money and your car they could care less. I could "ping" the location of the car, they lie about where your car is. The way I forced communication/delivery was by setting a deadline for delivery. If the deadline was missed again I would turn it over to police as stolen. I had the license number of the tractor, trailer and pictures. License plate readers in FL would have found stopped the missing truck. I was quickly "unghosted" and delivery occurred within 18 hours

Long-distance move from Lexington, MA to Santa Rosa, CA

Terrible Customer Service.

RoadRunner was terrible! Do NOT work with these guys. I did my due diligence in researching diff. companies for transporting a vehicle from MA to CA. My job is reimbursing me & required I get at least 3 quotes. RoadRunner was the ONLY co. that required credit card info upfront. Their tactic is to treat your quote as a booking, and then aggressively try and get you to commit. When I politely let them know I no longer required their services, Zach Asher sent me an insulting email and called me directly to scold, condescend, and insult me and my "useless" research, basically saying I was making a mistake, had no idea how the business worked, and that I'd be crawling back to him and RR to transport my car. Go with Sherpa!

Auto shipping.

Roadrunner Auto shipping is a horrible company with piss poor customer service, with Karla being the exception. They will treat you great up until you book a shipment and then you are Crap. Sean is one of the worst and never returns your call once booked and doesn’t give a crap about your shipment. Their drivers are even worse. They don’t speak English, have blocked cellphones and are never on time. It’s been 7 days past my expected delivery date and I’ve had to report the vehicle as stolen. Save yourself a lot of heartache and money, ship with anyone else.

The Customer is not King at Road Runner Auto Transport.

I booked an auto transport with this Broker. After booking I started seeing their horrible review everywhere and decided to cancel. I cancelled my booking within 4 hours.

Because they did not find a carrier for my yet, I assumed that they would not charge me a cancellation fee. They did however charge me a cancellation fee.

I decided to call the cancellation department to inquire about the fee, and was greeted by a very defensive employee who kept referring me to their policy. Their policy is 5 pages long. I am no lawyer and no expert in the kind of legal speak that their policy consists off. But according to the very confident person on the other end of the line, their policy clearly states that I would have to pay $135.

It would have been nice if this company would treat their customers better and have a policy that states that no pay is required if no service is rendered.

Customer is King? Not at Road Runner Auto Transport.

Scam!!

Stole $135 from us - "cancellation fee." Had scheduled transport of car. Carrier had not yet been assigned, & cancellation was made more than 30 days out. Had to sell said car due to COVID -19. No service provided to us, yet they still took $135 that we need for food & rent. We are disputing charge. What a racket/scam. Employee "Jenna" was a real peach on the phone - NOT.

Where is the driver, where is the service?

Was taken in by the website after a Google search. The service was great up to the point of taking a credit card, and so called assigning a driver. The driver was a no show, the service was non-responsive after calls, texts, and emails. Not sure what comes next, and hope something will change my mind for the better, but after digging deeper into reviews, not all that hopefull..
